A beautiful Western Electric brass candlestick microphone 11" tall. The cord has been cut about a foot from the phone. This is of course untested. As you can see the transmitter says 632A, the label inside the base says "this stand with cordage is known as #1020 A1 issue" to the best of my ability to read the faint numbers. The outside of the base reads "PAT in USA Jan 26 5". The entire piece is in nice shiny vintage condition as you can see. The base has some light pitting which may not show up well in the photos, but as you can see this antique microphone presents itself very nicely. This came from a large lot of antique railroad or factory mechanical pieces which include two almost identical 10" mechanical bells, 2 Western Electric candlestick scissor phones, and other items. I am running all these auctions concurrently since they are likely related as part of a factory/railroad communication system. Please check them out on my ebay store. Thanks for visiting.
