WESTINGHOUSE SALESMAN SAMPLE WASHER & DRYER SET 1950'S BOXED maytag

See the photos. This was just discovered in grandpa's attic, wrapped in a vinyl bag, inside a box. Grandpa's brother worked at an appliance store from the mid 1950s to early 1960s so I would imagine that these are from that time period. It is a Salesman Sample Washer & Dryer set. Small set, 5 inches wide. These were given to store and laundromat owners by the Westinghouse to advertise their new models. As you can see, the package boasts all of the important details about the appliances. The washer and dryer are actually Salt and Pepper shakers, although they are awkwardly large for that purpose. It seems they did this so that they may actually be used. The box does not say anywhere that the contents are salt and pepper shakers. The plastic washer and dryer are in perfect condition. And the box is also in beautiful condition with the cellophane window still intact. Please email with any questions.
