This is a complete treadle sewing machine with a patient date of 1905 which was sold to Lena Johnson in 1909 with a 5-year warranty and a $65 original bill of sale. It is in perfect mechanical condition, has recently been serviced and has a new belt. It has a set of attachments and sews as well as it did in 1909. The oak cabinet has been refinished and is complete with all drawers and an inlaid ruler in the cabinet top. This machine stands alone as an attractive piece of furniture in an antique collection or as a challenge to someone learning to sew. Serial #FR 244185. Please e-mail with any questions. The machine comes from a non-smoking home. The winning bidder must arrange for pick-up in Long Beach, California. Thanks for looking!
