Offered for auction is a nice White Mountain Apache cradleboard that is from the second half of the 20th century. I'm not an expert so I can't put an exact date on it. It is made with a bent wood frame and a butter yellow light weight canvas material with dark blue rick-rack decoration. The sun hood or visor has a verticle row of yellow painted slats that has one area (see picture) w the slats are gone. The condition is good but it has been used so t is an all-over patina and some soiling (like the top of the visor) w dirt has accumulated. I have not tried to clean it but it should clean well without too much trouble if you're the type to remove the patina. The rick-rack decoration is quite a hoot and gives this piece a charming look to it. It measures 33 1/2 inches from the top of the bent wood frame to the bottom and is 15 inches at the widest part of the visor. The visor also flips up. This is an interesting piece to have hanging on the wall or somew else. I accept money orders, cashier's checks, or personal checks with check to clear before sending. All condition descriptions are offered to the best of my knowledge. Buyer pays actual shipping charges with no extra embedded fees for handling. Thank you kindly for looking and good luck with your bidding.
