is a hard to find White Opal Winterlily Vase made by Dugan. This piece has no damage of any kind which is unusual because of the foot design. According to Bill Edward's & Mike Carwilee in their book "The Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass 4th Edition", it was made in 1908. It was apparently one of those items made in small amounts for the blue is very hard to find, the green is scarce, and the white is seldom found. The mould work is superior with twig feet turning into rows of vertical beading and a leaf vining around the vase. The lily shape has a glass twist at the top, much like the Cleopatra Fan vase. This is one of the rare and highly collectible pieces in opalescent glass!
