White River Bridge Shoals IN 1930's Real Photo Postcard

is a very rare late 1920's to early 1930's real photo postcard of the original White River Bridge on the National Highway (US 50) at Shoals, Indiana. The caption on the front of the postcard reads "White River Bridge - Shoals, Indiana". The post card (which I could not get the scanner to scan the back) is not a divided card, rather has "Postcard - Place Stamp - Correspondence - Address". The card is in near mint condition, was never wrote on, and is postally unused. The card's picture is very clear and looks good, which the digital image did not show it as such. The photo shows the three (3) steel overhead bridge span structures, pedestrian sidewalks that are complete with fencing to protect people from falling off the bridge, time period houses (which the photo looks as if it was taken from the Eastern side of the bridge facing West, and t are what appear to be storm clouds gathering. This bridge was replaced years ago by the current bridge structure at Shoals for US 50. The bridge was part of the National Highway that ran from Washington, DC, to St. Louis Missouri (and on West).
