The specimen shown is a 12cm wide (4-3/4") cabinet size example of rich butterscotch yellow wulfenite crystals from the Helena Mine in Mezica (Miess), Slovenia. It's nearly 100% wulfenite, with a small amount of white calcite present on one side. A couple of old number labels remain on the top right side. This particular mass form of crystals is well known from the Risperk District and the example shown dates back to the mid 20th century. Two other Dealer labels (more modern times) come with the piece. The vast majority of crystals have some sharp terminations with little damage other than where is was separated from a larger mass at one time. A very large, totally classic, cabinet size Miess wulfenite. Overall size is about 12cm (4-3/4") x 9.0cm x 4.0cm thick and it weighs 1lb, 5 ounces or 606 grams. Winning bidder pays shipping charges as calculated in this listing. Most forms of payment are ok and, as always, your satisfaction is guaranteed from California Mineral Connection.
