The year 2014 will mark the centenary year of the commencement of World War One in 1914, a cataclysmic event in which the hitherto unknown wholesale slaughter resulted in millions of deaths, many, many more physically and mentally wounded and affected families in nearly every street. The conflict- 'the war to end all wars' -redefined the map of Europe and the founding of new political, ideological & racial factions led eventually to WW11. This indeed then is a time to remember these men & women who fell, served or were just affected by these events. These prints when framed make a fitting tribute to all who took part & will make an admirable present to mark the event. This offer comprises FOUR different mounted prints sized 14"x11" (356mm x 279mm) pic1 ref W956B size 14"x11" Troopers of the famed AUSTRALIAN LIGHT HORSE regiment ride under the walls of the Holy City between Bethlehem and Jerusalem in the Palestinian Campaign of 1917. pic2 ref W957B size 14"x11" The Australian Light Horse pass through Bethlehem to the capture of Jericho. pic3 ref W955B size 14"x11" Anzac tents pitched in the Judean foothills in the Valley of the Jordan.
