WW2 US Army Killed In Action KIA paper grouping - 37th Infantry Division GI

This is a small World War Two US Army KIA / killed in action paper grouping from an Army soldier killed in action in 1945 in the Pacific Theater. The man these things were from was Private First Class Ernest F. DeRemer, he was from Mapleton, Minnesota, which is in Blue Earth County and near Mankato, Mapleton is a small town. He was killed in action on August 6 th , 1945. He is buried in Minnesota. The group consists of all paper items, no medals. There are about 10 or 11 letters he wrote home, some from training, some from overseas with the 145 th Infantry. All are the usual stuff, mundane, no details, generic. There is a draft card, a childhood photo of him, a couple holiday cards, a card about a tree being planted in his honor after he was killed, a July 1944 Christmas letter which is a patriotic theme and generic, and ten a "Regrets To Inform You" religious pamphlet which someone sent to Ernest's parents. There are no award documents or certificates or anything like that, just these assorted paper items. The set is 71 years old or more and shows typical age and handling and storage and use wear. Its all in nice condition overall though. I took a bunch of pictures, but of course feel free to contact me with any questions the pictures do not answer.
