On offer 4 x WW2 / WWII medals and Associated paperwork to 152751 A.J.S. LOTTERING Comprising The Italy Star – this damaged - suspension ring detached and missing. Defence Medal War Medal Africa Service Medal in silver All named to 152751 A.J.S. LOTTERING This South African served with the WR/DLR which I believe was formed as an amalgamation of the Witwatersrand Rifles and the Regiment de la Rey and known as Wits-delaRey. This unit saw heavy service in the assault on Italy. The paperwork comprises :- Discharge Certificate for Lottering (falling apart at the folds) Medal transmittal document showing entitlement to these 4 medals plus the 1939-45 Star which I don’t have and Good wishes on discharge from Smuts (also falling apart) Please note that there are no ribbons with these medals, the Italy Star is A/F, and a named 1939-45 star is absent.
