Blade is bright with some very very light small spots of rust and staining. Does not appear to have been sharpened. Wood grips are fine with a ding that is pictured. Push button works well. Pommel and crossguard retain an even patina with some light surface rust. Scabbard has a nice patina, some light rust, and a minor dent in one side. Serial number is 41550. Just got the following information from another user:This is somewhat a scarce maker. Kouseiki manufacture under Kokura supervision (Hikari Seiki Arsenal). Very hard to find with screws (not rivets) in grips; examples found have been used by Siam.
