WWII US ARMY 9th AIR FORCE (USAAF) Majors Dress Tunic

You are bidding on a WWII Army Air Force (9th) Majors Dress Tunic, coat only, with belt. The coat has a 9th Army Air Force patch sewn on the right shoulder and another 9th patch on the left. I have not seen a 9th Division patch like the one on the left, and do not know the meaning of the triangle. The coat has 2 gold major's oak leaves on the shoulders and two gold (engineers?) insignias pinned to the lapels. It also has 7 hash marks on the left forearm. It is about a size 40 to 42r. The ribbon bar above the left packet was sewn on and is missing a few of the stars. I think they came off the last time it was cleaned so I removed the ribbons before I had it cleaned. Included with the coat are 4 clutchback ribbon bars (one with star), 2 bar type ribbon bars and the sewn on ribbon bar that I removed before cleaning. I could not figure out which went with the one sewn above the pocket. No stains or rips. T are 2 holes about the size of a pencil tip below the corner of the right pocket (see picture) and one hole in the corner of the pocket that was repaired. Auction is over Monday. Starting price $50.00, S/H $15.00 anyw in US, No Reserve, Auction ends Monday
