WWII WW2 RAAF Blue Dress Uniform - Murder US Soldier

WWII WW2 RAAF Royal Australian Air Force Blue Dress Uniform - Murder U.S. Soldier Story

This uniform comes with a story. The owner of the uniform during World War 2 had his father murdered by a United States soldier.

With the uniform comes all the WW2 newspapers of the trial of the U.S. soldier and framed pictures of the person who owned the uniform.

The uniform is in near mint condition and consists of the dark blue battle dress uniform including jacket with belt, pants, hat, tie and braces.

The jacket is a medium size (my husband is a size large in men's clothing and it was just a fraction too small for him to put on for photos) and is in excellent condition, no holes. It has the maker tag attached and it says Ellinson Bros Pty Ltd 1942 Size 22. The shoulder measurement across is 44cm (17"), the inseam arm measurement is 49cm (19") and it has a very good faux silk liner.

The blue pleated pants have a 7 button front, 2 rear pockets with buttons, 2 side pockets and side adjuster straps. The original braces are still with them and still have spring to them. T are a few very small holes but the largest one has been darned. Inseam leg measurement is 79cm (31"), 84cm (33") waist. They have the maker tag attached also and it says House Pty Ltd Size 13 Made in Australia.
