Yale Alpha Delta Phi Silver Cigarette Box 1922 - 1937

Sterling silver cigarette box made by the Andrew Taylor Co. of Newark, New Jersey. It is approx. 6" x 3" x 1 ½". Engraved on the top of the lid "Our Fifteenth" & "June 19th 1937". The inside of the lid is engraved with the name "Dip Townsend" in the center and surrounded by the other 21 names. We believe the box was presented to "Dip" Townsend at the fifteenth annual reunion of the Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity at Yale - Class of 1922. Some of the men were also members of the secretive Skull & Bones club. Good condition with a few minor dings.
