YALE CLASS OF 1930 CERAMIC BULLDOG BANK RARE VINTAGE COLLEGE MASCOT FIGURINE

Rare Yale Bulldog ceramic still bank from 1930 with a hallmark underneath. This figural "Handsome Dan", the name of Yale's Bulldog mascot, is made of glazed ceramic hand-painted in blue and white, the official Yale colors. His blue sweater is embossed in white with the Class of 1930 logo - "19 Y 30", and his hat is embossed "'30". The coin slot is on top of his hat, and the round hole trap is on the bottom, which is missing the plug. This Yale bank stands 6.5" tall by 4" wide and 6" deep and weighs almost 1 lb. The underside of his left paw is inscribed with a hallmark of an "M" below a coronet styled crown. Yes, his right leg has been repaired in years past - you can still see the glue mark around the crack - but come on, this is a 1930 Yale Bulldog bank! It's a rare item for any Eli or bank collector.
