Description This octagonal dish has an attractive decoration consisting of eight panels (petals) which together comprise a large lotus flower. Each of the panels as well as the center also display a smaller lotus flower. The rim is decorated with a simple band. The reverse is decorated with four branches. The decoration is executed in fine detail, which is typical for the reign of the Chinese emperor Yongzheng (1723-1735). Diameter 5.5 inches. Age Yongzheng, ca. 1730. Guaranteed over 200 years old. Condition Excellent, with two chips and glaze wear to the rim. In addition, t is some kiln dust in the glaze.
