Zuni Pueblo Indian Fetish Carving Inlaid Frog by Pete Natachu Our fetishes are handmade in New Mexico by Native American artists. This unique frog was made from jet by Zuni carver Pete Natachu . Frogs are associated with water and rain. Frog asks the spirits to bring abundant rain. They are also a fertility fetish. Women often keep a frog fetish by their bed when hoping to become pregnant. Frogs represent the cycle of life. This frog has an inlaid sunface on its back. This frog with turquoise eyes measures 2" long, 1.4" wide and 0.8" tall .
