Catalogue of the collection of colonial and state coins, 1787 New York, Brasher doubloon, U. S. pioneer gold coins, extremely fine cents and half cents of Captain A. C. Zabriskie

Captain Andrew C. Zabriskie, Ex-President of the American Numismatic Society of New York City, is probably one of the oldest, in point of years interested, collectors in the United States, and it was an honor to be commissioned by him to disperse his fine collection—and that at public auction to the highest bidder. In pursuance of this order the author has endeavored to prepare a catalogue fairly describing the coins in the collection, setting forth their devices, condition of preservation and rarity, as it appears to him, and he trusts those who favor the sale by their presence, or who buy through agents, will agree with me in the statements set forth.
