Dollhouses Past and Present

During the ten years Don and I were living in Europe, 1952-62, we began a part time hobby which mushroomed into an exciting project. Searching in out-ofthe- way corners and side streets, combing the wonderful Paris flea markets and Madrid's fabulous Rostro, we hunted for old dolls, dollhouses and miniature furnishings. Our eyes became more accustomed to seeing the tiny things, the language barrier eased perceptibly- and shop keepers began putting things aside for our next time around.
