Collector’s Guide to Country Furniture, Book 1

It is interesting to spend fifteen minutes with a copy of Antiques Magazine from the 1930's or Hobbies from the 1950's. The type of items that many of us collect today receive no mention in these publications. Rarely does a search of magazines from the period between 1920 and the mid-1960's turn up an ad for a basket, piece of decorated stoneware, or a bucket bench in its original paint.
