Teddy Bears and Steiff Animals 1st Series Values Updated

Teddy Bear enthusiasm is as strong today as at its birth in 1903. In that year Margarete Steiff in Germany and Morris Michtom, who later formed the Ideal Novelty Co. in America, crafted toy bears that were subsequently called "Teddy Bears." The undisputed fact is that the best loved toy of all time was named after Theodore Roosevelt, (President, 1901-1909).
