Early Archaic Indian Points and Knives

The section of the United States known as the Central States is composed of Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Most of the western part of this region consists of rolling prairies, while much of the eastern part, in prehistoric times, was covered by a vast deciduous forest which blended into coniferous woodlands in the northern parts of the region.
