As we observed market activity from 1989 through 1991, we noted that decoy sales remained strong, never lagging more than the general economy. The total amount of sales in 1986 reached a record-breaking $7,000,000; and, though '87 showed an increase of 20% over '85, its $4,600,00 total seemed in comparison to indicate a considerable drop in the market. Yet analysts continued to predict that decoys would prove excellent investments.
