The Collector’s Guide to Trading Cards Identification and Values

As the summer of 1991 was about to end, a couple of events prompted the thinking that ultimately led to this book. One was a telephone call from the editor of Sports Card Trader magazine, Doug Kale. He wondered if I would be interested in writing for a planned publication called Card Collector Price Guide. It would pick up where sports card publications left off. I was delighted to give it a try.
