Series IV is a continuation of the other three books in the Nippon series and readers should refer to the first book for color plates numbered 1 - 366, plates 367 - 1210 are in Series II, and plates 1211 - 2378 are in Series III. Basic information regarding Nippon wares will be found in each. I feel that collectors need to study all four book in the series. But please don't just look at the photos. It's also necessary to read the text. Remember, chance favors the prepared mind.
