Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass Book 4 Custard Glass From A to Z

A quick scan through the pages of this book will reveal to many of you readers the true beauty of the popular glass which is known today as "custard" glass. This book is the fourth in a series on colored pattern glass made between the years 1885 to 1910, with each volume devoted to a specific subject. The colored glass field is so diversified that it may take a dozen volumes or more to cover it adequately. You will note I use the word "adequately'', not "completely" . I enjoy researching and documenting glass, but there are thousands of facts which will never be known, no matter how much I dig. Nor do I claim that all of the answers I turn up should be considered the complete and final results. The continued research undertaken by myself and others will undoubtedly turn up clues which can cast doubt on some of the data presented in this series. I am making no attempt to set myself up as the final authority in this field of pattern glass.
