My first book on toothpick holders consisted primarily of examples which were in my collection, gathered over a long period of time visiting antique shops. shows and auctions, sending want lists all over the country, and scrimping and saving to upgrade my purchase power. This second volume on toothpick holders has only a sprinkling of my updated collection, and consists primarily of examples provided by members of the National Toothpick Holder Collector's Society-pieces on display at their first convention. some which we re mailed to me, and others which were gathered later from members near my home.
