Kemple Glass 1945-1970

This book had its genesis in the early 1970s. Follow- ing the death of John E.Kemple and the closing of the glass works bearing his name, a few individuals wanted to preserve the company's memory and inform collectors about the many beautiful items produced during Kem- ple's 25-year history. These people were well suited for the task. Everett and Addie Miller had recently self-pub- lished two small books on New Martinsville glass. Everett was a successful auctioneer, and he knew about many kinds of American glass. He and his wife, Addie, shared a special interest in Kemple.
