Oil Lamps 3 Victorian Kerosene Lighting 1860-1900

Photography like research and collecting involves a little bit of luck and sometimes just being in the right place at the right time. Such was the case with the photograph of the kitties below. Neither I nor a computer had any part in the composition, or the arrangement. They have continued to be delightful subjects for snapshots and the only glass casualty has been a large prism, neatly snapped in two by a flick of the tail.
