Change is inevitable; and in the 30 years I've been involved with glass, I've seen collectors changing venue. Collectible Glassware of the 40s, 50s, 60s ... evolved from the Depression glassware book featuring glass made in the 1920s and 1930s. That type of glass was being found regularly at garage, estate, and rummage sales when I first started buying it. Now, glassware made during the 40s, 50s, 60s, and even 70s is what is being found, and bought, at those same type sa les. Old timers wonder what people see in this "new" glass!
