Wausau , Wisconsin, is a great place to grow up if you love fishing. l was born there in 1946, but moved to Milwaukee with my parents when I started school. Fishing left something to be desired in Milwauker. Fortunately I had understanding grandparents. aunts , and uncles, who let me spend my summers with them in Wausau . They would often take me " up north" on weekends to fish. On days when I couldn't bum a ride , I could walk down to the Wisconsin River where my cousin and I kept an old wood rowboat tied up . I havr always loved to fish but didn' t start lure collecting until 1995.
