1.00ct Old mine cut Diamond solitaire solid Platinum 1920's single stone ring. Specular platinum old mine cut diamond ring. The gorgeous diamond is 6.6 mm at its widest point & about 4.2 mm deep giving it a weight in access of 1.00 carat. It is set in an attractive raised platinum cornet that shows it off to perfection. The stone is particularly fine, it is very clear & bright with immense sparkle & fire. It has a special beauty only found in old cut diamonds. The colour is L/M (main photo taken in daylight is a good representation of the colour).Clarity VSI. The stone stands 7 mm proud of the shank. The size is J 1/2 ( UK ), 5 1/4 ( USA ) & 49 ( European ). This ring weighs 2.6 grams. The shank is stamped PLAT. It dates to the Art Deco period. This antique ring is in excellent condition.
