Size: 93 mm / 3.7 inchesWeight: 1.4 kg / 3.1 lbA large and heavy sphere made primarily of arfvedsonite, which is black but also contains striking sprays of flashy blue needle formations. They look very similar to the honey- or gold-colored astrophyllite, and this stone is often mislabeled as astrophyllite in online stores and auctions. Sometimes you'll even see it mislabeled as nuummite.Those who see stones as windows to the metaphysical generally describe arfvedsonite as simultaneously grounding and spiritual, and far more projective than receptive. Those who don't look at stones that way are still nonetheless captivated by this shining example of the beauty found in nature.In addition to blue/black arfvedsonite, this sphere also contains inclusions of milky white quartz, deep red garnet, and gold-colored pyrite .
