This is a Fuchikashira set for a short sword made in Edo period. The fuchi is design is of a lobster on nanakoji(raised dimpling surface), in takabori carving and inlay. The kashira is design of hung fishnet on the beach. It is hard to say this is an extraordinary work:however, the fuchi is made very well and the inlay is done finely.
