Up for auction is a nice collection of 1,270 Gold, Silver, & Bronze age Comic Books This was a personal collection that I bought out from a Estate Sale. T are hundreds of books priced at (10 cents, 12 cents, 15 cents,20 cents and 25 cents ) and the rest of the comics are Priced 30 - 60 cents cover prices with a few jumbo books priced at $1.00 )T are no comics newer than 1982. (THAT IS RIGHT EVERY BOOK IS FROM 1948 -1982 NO NEWER COMICS IN THIS COLLECTION) T is a nice variety and the conditions range from fair to Fine with the majority being in the VG - FN range and not that many on the really low end of the grading scale. The newer comics are usually the nicest and the older ones show more wear (as is usually the case). The worst book is the Amazing Spiderman # 28 with about 30% of the front cover tore off. That is the worst condition book which I was told would be graded as poor . Everything else is Fair - Very Fine. You can see by the pictures that t are a bunch of Amazing Spider-Man, Action, Adventure, Batman, Captain America, Fantastic Four, Superboy, Superman, Wonder woman, Incredible Hulk , and other main title books. This is not in any way a junk, bulk comic lot. This comic Collection is 85% or more mainstream titles. One of the best things about this collection is the fact that a lot of the books are bagged or bagged and boarded. These are in 5 long comic boxes and the breakdown is as follows : T are: 639 old Marvel comics. 412 old DC comics and 1 long box which has 219 very old books from (Dell,Bluebird, Pines comics, Fawcett,Gold Key, Harvey, CDC, Classic Illustrated, Charlton , IW, & Archie Series. You could buy this collection and take it directly to a comic show and set up as a dealer and start making money from these boxes immediately. T are also many other nice main title books like X-Men, Daredevil, World's Finest, Flash, Brave and the Bold, Thor, Justice League of America, Marvel Tales, etc. *** T is No duplication in this comic collection *** **** Not one repeat all different issues **** I was already offered $1 a book for the collection from a local comic shop in town and decided I would list it on Ebay since the guy was a bit of a JACKA$$ . I have included a bunch of pictures so that you can see the variety of comics included in the lot. This will be a no reserve auction. This will make a great addition to your personal collection or to a dealer's inventory. I have taken 20 pictures of this comic collection but ebay will only let me list 12 I will try to put more on by using some of my webspace on aol and adding a link to this auction later this week. Keep in mind that insurance is included in the shipping price and the comics will be sent in 5 long boxes with UPS Ground service. I have kept the shipping to a minimum. Roughly $35 per box (for US shipping) for a total of $175.00 will get the books to you quickly and safely through UPS ground with full insurance on each box. My intention is not to make money off the shipping charge, so I kept it as low as possible. T will be no returns on this lot as t are too many comics for me to verify that everything gets returned to me as it was sent, but please check my feedback.
