Hello and thank you for visiting my site! For your consideration is one of a pair of antique porcelain cherub plaques. If you can identify the logo PLEASE let me know. This was purchased at an antique auction many years ago. Initially I thought that they were Meissen, but have since found out that they are not. This plaque is exquisitely detailed. The cherubs have curly blonde hair and are each wearing a ruched fabric piece below their waist. They are sitting on a branch filled with lush leaves and berries. The cherub on the right is holding a torch in its hand. T are numerous gold flecks on the fabric section, leaves, and berries. Their faces are lovely with blushed cheeks and painted eyes and lips. This wonderful piece measures 6 3/8" by 5 14" with a gold metal loop at the top to hang it by and four stiffened 'protectors'. The logo is two crossed arrows with '6560' beneath them. The condition is excellent with the exception of one of the leaf tips and two toes on one cherub being broken off. Please forward any questions you have.
