Nice set of 10 antique silverplate forks with mother of pearl handles. Monogrammed as shown in worn featd script that is hard to read, but my best guess would be CAMM or similar. Otherwise unmarked. Certainly European based on the aesthetic and most likely English, possibly Continental Europe. Old estate pieces from a very good Dallas estate and with defiinte age and they probably date to the later part of the 1800s, ca. 1850 - 1890. CONDITION REPORT: Small amount of **rust** and **wear** to the silverplate sections of each fork. It is a small amount only and it doesn't show up too well in the pics, but I don't want you to be disappointed, so please note that each fork **does** show a small amount of rust and wear to the silverplate, with about 3% to 6% of the surface of each fork affected. Also, wear to the old monograms as shown in the pics. Otherwise, fine and without problems. No pings, dings, or dents in the silverplate. No bends, not out of shape in any way. No chips or cracks in the mother of pearl handles. Joint between the mother of pearl and the silverplate sections of each fork **very** tight and secure, not loose in any way. SIZE: Each fork is about 6.25" long and they are about the size of a modern salad fork. Bid with confidence, guaranteed antique (made before 1900) and guaranteed genuine mother of pearl and not read more
