Here is a great group of 10 Confederate GARDNER Civil War bullets found in the Confederate defenses in Varina Virginia east of Richmond. The CS GARDNER was made specifically for the Confederacy and most of them were manufactured in Richmond at the CS Arsenal. However there were other manufacturers in the South. You will find all ten of these to be in good condition with war related scars and some digger hits. There are at least two calibers in this group.Examples of these bullets can be seen on page 32 item 168 through 177 in "CIVIL WAR PROJECTILES II" by Reid and McKee.These items were unloaded over 140 years ago by a Confederate soldier and are absolutely harmless. Add this great group of Civil War history to your collection for a starting bid of only 99 cents! Thanks for looking.
