During the Great Depression, these Durium Records were available at newstands for 15 cents. They are one-sided, 78 RPM records and 9 of the 10 included in this auction have their original rice paper sleeves. Not all the sleeves are perfect but they are there with both sides still attached. I have listened to all of these records and loved them. Some of the records are a little curved down at the rim from storage and you have to move the record needle in a couple tracks to get it going and if there is damage, it will be noted below. The Rudy Vallee records have his picture on the reverse side of the record. This collection includes all Hit of the Week records. Shine on Harvest Moon & Oh Susanna (w/out sleeve) - Phil Spitalny's Music w/Helen Rowland Me w/College Medley of Princeton Cannon Song and Yale's Down the Field - Sam Lanin's Orchestra A Faded Summer Love - Rudy Vallee w/Connecticut Yankees You Try Somebody Else - Rudy Vallee w/Connecticut Yankees Good Night Sweetheart & In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree (Record scratched) - Phil Spitalyn's Music River Stay 'Way from My Door & Some of These Days - Erno Rapee's Orchestra w/Helen Rowland You Call It Madness & Auld Lang Syne - Freddie Rich's Radio Orchestra w/Helen Rowland Love Letters in the Sand with Illinois Loyalty and Michigan Victory Songs (record creased) - Sam read more
