These 10 letters are from family to family in Indiana. Most of them are from men serving in the Civil War.One is on Army Stationary showing a battle with the flag flying and an eagle overhead, the envelop has 'The War For the Union' and is dated March 26, 1862. One if from Duttonville, VA. dated Nov. 17, 1861 it is on stationary with the White House in the background, the American Flag Flying over tents and a Soldier standing guard. Another has an embossed eagle and flag dated June 8, 1862. Another has embossed soldier holding the American Flag with lettering under "Brave in the Field-Wise in Council-A True Patriot-Loyal to the Constitution & Union. Another was written while in the U>S> Hospital-Pleasant Valley, MD dated Aug 3, 1864. All of them were written during 1861-1865. A great addition to a collector's Civil War collection.
