Going through the many, many boxes that I inherited, that were stored in an air conditioned storage down here in Florida, I found a very rare find: this absolutely beautiful sculpture box art that looks to be made of almost 100% mother of pearl with eight abalone shells attached and two shells that I believe are murex. This box is beautifully made of mother of pearl and I believe mother of pearl painted green accent tiles with the shells that all look to have been polished, buffed, and glazed. This box art measures up to 8" square and is as tall as 4". This box art looks to be in excellent condition: I couldn't find any chips, cracks or pieces missing. It is absolutely beautiful!!
