This measuring tape comes from my dad's estate and belonged to his older cousin who was a carpenter by trade. Cousin Don died in 1962 at the age of 76. This is a 100 ft. tape measure that is in excellent condition altho the leather case has a few scuff/scratches from use. The leather is in great conditon, not drying or cracking and the stitching is perfect ! It is the dark leather; flash made it look lighter in a couple of photos. On either side it is embossed: CHESTERMAN ~~ SHEFFIELD ~~ ENGLAND A great addition to your collection or use it on that special project! {it weighs 1 lb. 7 oz.} Feel free to ask questions of any kind.
