Part of a very nice collection of U.S. obsolete notes I'll be selling over the next few weeks. Each auction will start at $0.99 and run the full term. Uncirculated conditionwith some scattered light stains and slight yellowing, as usual. Haxby LA-105-G70a, a remainder. By Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson. The levee vignette with the steamboat, Etiwan, was engraved by James Smillie, whose signature "Smillie" appears at the lower left. This note also has a very nice brown-orange back.
