Offered is a FABULOUS lot of over 100 Postcards from Scrapbook & Loose Photos--mostly used German Photo Postcards dating back from the 1920s thru the 1970s-- mostly of which are the result of correspondence from friends & relatives of Herta Zeitz --residing at the time in Bremen, Germany. Almost all the correspondence is in German. The majority (over half) are dated in the 1930s--and most of these are from 1938-9 years just before the outbreak of WW2--when Germany attacked Poland. Most have cancelled 6c Deutiches Reich Stamps. In addition, t are also numerous Souvenir Postcards (mostly 1960s-70s) from various tourist attractions --including CRANDON PARK BEACH, Miami, Florida, ASBURY PARK, N.J., FISHERMAN'S BEACH, Mass, SANTA ANITA RACE TRACK, Arcadia, CA, THE ROSE BOWL, Pasadena, CA, GRAUMAN'S CHINESE THEATRE, WASHINGTON TOMB, MT Vernon, VA, FABULOUS HOLLYWOOD CALIFORNIA, BUCKINGHAM COURT, Fayetteville, N.C. FLAMINGOS AT HIALEAH PARK RACE TRACK , Miam, Florida (1940s!), among others. Also included are a couple family letters family Letters and even a 1940s Telegram (could be during the War) in German.
