This is a really special offering this week. This is a set of 3 very old sockets. We believe these were made by Paiste prior to 1910. Although their name does not appear on the socket, the logo on the turnkey is the same as some later model sockets we have that do have the Paiste name on them. As mentioned, these are some very old sockets. They are marked 250V - 50CP. All three still have their original mica insulators in place and look to be in good condition. All three turnkeys turn easily and appear to be functioning properly although t are untested. The copper oxide finish is in pretty good condition on one of these and the other two show some wear. The turnkeys also show some wear from years of use, but are not chipped or broken. Two of the turnkeys appear to have the remnants of gold paint on them. These sockets screw together instead of snap together as later sockets do. In addition, these sockets come with matching shade holders. These shade holders also have a copper oxide finish and carry a patent date of Sept. 29, 1896. The shade holders still have all of their original thumbscrews. In addition, we will throw in an extra socket cap (not pictured) that looks like it went with this set. Please refer to the pictures for further inspection of condition.
