"One Hundred Years Hence" circa 1880s ELITE MOCHA BLEND COFFEE advertising trade card. Captioned: ONE HUNDRED YEARS HENCE, ROOFED CITIES, FINE WEATHER INSURED. Pictures a city of the future, protected from the elements by a gigantic roof covering the city. Back side text describes the city of the future covered by a "Glass Roof hung high in the heavens", & advertises: Elete Blend Coffee, "It will quiet your nerves". ( This One RARE card is part of an 1880s trade card set featuring imagined inventions & glimpses of the future as seen by Victorians of the 1880s). Several faults including a rounded corner & creases but still a servicable example until another may be found. Mailing charges are $2.50 (within the U.S.) Includes postage, protective cardboard mailer, & packaging.I accept money orders, certified checks, & personal checks drawn on U.S. banks. NO paypal.
