This is a lot of 100 old railroad box car lock straps. They are from the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad (C.R.I.&P.) and each strap is embossed with "C.R.I.&P.R.R." and with a 7 digit number. I didn't check, but I'm guessing the numbers are in consecutive order.They are approximately 8" long. They are made from thin metal have sharp edges.They are old and many of them are rusty, but they have never been used. I have not tried to clean them.They are gathered into a bundle and attached at the end with a wire.Please email me with any questions. Thank you for looking!
