It is in 12 sections with each section measuring 9 feet long and about 2" wide. Two cotton cords run through each strand for durability. One photo shows a single 9 foot strand while another photo shows all dozen strands grouped together. Age of this boxed set is from the 1960's, Made In Japan (MIJ), and they have never been used making them brand new in mint condition.
