RARE BINDER BROTHERS 10K SOLID GOLD 2 BLADE Gentlemen's POCKET KNIFE, c. 1920! The highly esteemed BINDER BROTHERS firm was founded in 1920 in New York City and they are a very well regarded jewelry manufacturer. The two stainless steel blades are manufactured by SCHRADE CUTLERY CO. from Walden, NY. The Fob loop is hallmarked "10KT", along with the Binder Brothers hallmark: "BB" in interlocking circles". This gold knife weighs 12 grams! The lovely gold case measures 2 3/8" long in the closed position and has engine turned, linear decoration. The two blades include one knife blade and a long grooming file. The knife blade is hallmarked Schrade Cut. Co Walden, NY and the grooming file is marked "SS". The blade measures 1 5/8" and the grooming file is also 1 5/8". Both blades are in clean, sharp, original condition, showing almost no wear.
