An 11/16” SheffieldStraight Razor by Geo Wostenholm. T1 Manufacturers Info. GEORGE WOSTENHOLM & SONS Successors to George Wostenholm December 1922 Rockingham Works ca. 1694 - 1847 Washington Works, Sheffield ca. 1847 - at least 1991 Trade Mark “Churchwardens Pipe” Regd Dec 1694 This cut throat razor has an 11/16” Hollow ground blade. It has Cream Celluloid scales with a black spacer & blade stop. Engraved on the tang are the words “ Geo Wostenholm & Sons Sheffield England ” On the reverse is “Trade Mark Regd Dec 1694 On the blade there is “Peerless” in gold Condition. Case. No Case. Razor . I have Cleaned the razor & it has left small spots of pitting on the blade. The hone wear is light. There are no chips or cracks in the blade & the scales are fine. Not shave ready but can be made so with honing. The razor has been Sterilized using Barbiside. Please Larger pictures. There is no reserve & a low start price of .99p International Bidders Encouraged Cleaning of the razors. The razors are cleaned using a rotary wire brush & polished using several grades of paste. The scales are also polished. If the edges have any chips or flea-bites these are honed out. They are not sold as shave ready.
